Your new Opportunity:

Our Melbourne Insolvency team is on the hunt for Graduate Analyst with a keen interest to grow with us. You will be assisting senior staff with a wide range of corporate insolvency and restructuring appointments including Voluntary Administrations, Liquidations, Receiverships, Small Business Restructures and other appointments.

Key responsibilities of the role would include;

  • Assist with all assigned external administrations;
  • Assist senior staff on job requirements as appropriate;
  • Support in monitoring and meeting statutory deadlines;
  • Liaise with financiers, lawyers, agents, and auctioneers;
  • Preparing investigative reports;
  • The day to day fieldwork of various external administrations under the supervision of senior staff;
  • Recovery of company assets;
  • Investigations into the Company’s affairs;
  • Attending to lodgements and reporting to the Australian Securities and Investments Commission;
  • Reviewing and analysis financial information; and
  • Reporting to, and communicating with various stakeholders including; directors, creditors, financial institutions, and government departments;

Qualifications, skills and experience required:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce with an Accounting Major or other relevant studies (completed or in progress final year)
  • Interest to study CAANZ/CPA
  • Strong ethical standards
  • Excellent time management & organisational skills
  • Strong communication and report writing skills
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Ability to meet and work towards deadlines
  • Ability to liaise with banks, lawyers, and other professionals
